摘要: | 台灣眼鏡產業長年以來一直是封閉的產業,驗光人員的養成多為師徒制,無正規學校養成教育,因此驗光人員水準良莠不齊,對消費者而言資訊相當不對稱。而根據衛福部國健署2010年的調查,台灣18歲近視人口比率高達85%,光靠眼科醫生無法負荷如此龐大的驗光業務,必須仰賴眼鏡店的驗光人員,因此如何提升眼鏡業從業人員水準、制度化的養成教育與修訂相關法規,以保障國人視力健康,便成為政府與業界近年來的努力目標。
隨著消費者意識抬頭、大環境過度競爭、連鎖店挾豐沛資源大舉展店、大專院校設立視光科系,以及立法院通過驗光人員法等種種事件的衝擊,使得台灣的眼鏡產業產生巨大變化,眼鏡單店面對種種不利因素,如無法找出因應之道,將無法獲致生存的空間而被市場淘汰。 本研究透過專家訪談(瞭解小林眼鏡公司的資訊系統),以及對下游眼鏡單店的問卷調查,瞭解眼鏡單店的目前狀況及未來需求,進而探討如何以供應商的角度,建構電腦系統來幫助下游單店,提升其營運能力,並結合上下游的力量,成立類似虛擬連鎖店的系統,將眼鏡單店面臨的存亡危機轉化為提升營運能力的轉機。 The eyewear market in Taiwan is very competitive and closed in form. Training of optometrist is more like apprenticed than formal and systematic. In accordance with the 2010 report from Ministry of Health and Welfare, in Taiwan 85% of the 18-year old young generation has nearsightedness problem, and this phenomenon is surely beyond the current capacity oculists or ophthalmologists. Therefore how to improve the operations quality of eye examination at optical shops, especially at the on-site optometry is challenging. Formal education in college and related policy formulating are the endeavors for this industry and government to work out together. Along with the upward consumer awareness, cut-throat market competition, chained optical shops business advantages, relevant degree programs in colleges, legislation of optometrist qualification test have brought up dramatic impact to the single optical shop’s operation. This research utilized professional interview and questionnaire to find out the business difficulty, system inadequacy, as well as cost and inventory situation of current single optical store. We indented to find out if they might need a sophisticated information system from a centralized supplier to help them in doing better product control and customer management. Specifications of system functions are identified, operational benefits are figured out, and strategic possibility to increase competitiveness against chained optical stores are discussed. |
