dc.description.abstract本研究自民國六十七年八月至六十八年五月調查溪頭林地內松鼠族群之大小,月變化,活動範圍,並探討影響松鼠捕獲率之因素。相對族群密度係採用定時定點觀察法。松鼠族群變化及活動範圍之研究則以標放法進行之。
七月份由定時定點法得知鳳凰山原始林及168,159人造林地內每站數到的松鼠數目並無顯著差異。而鳳凰山之族群秋冬較夏天為高。168人造林地之松鼠捕獲率以十一月最高,每百個鼠籠可捕捉3.93隻,隨後漸降至四月為0.23隻。以標放法發現在168林地(共10.76公頃)成體雄鼠比未成熟雄鼠,成體雌鼠及未成熟雌鼠之族群為大,其平均族群大小分別為11.68,6.3和7。雄鼠之活動範圍恆大於雌鼠,但活動範圍與成熟度無關。
松鼠之捕獲概率,受性別、成熟度、鼠籠安置地形影響。未成熟之雄鼠進籠頻率較其他松鼠為高。鼠籠擺設於稜線上比山坡地之捕獲率為高;但與鼠籠附近遮蔽度無關。
