| dc.description.abstract | 館員是決定圖書館服務良窳的關鍵。專業人才的培養，有賴高品質的專業教育，繼續教育乃是培育優秀館員的重要方法。兒童圖書館員的繼續教育，因其工作特性、圖書館內外環境之變化、以及兒童圖書館在圖書館界的特殊地位，呈現出相當重要的意義。本文即針對兒童圖書館員之繼續教育問題進行研究，以文獻分析法探討兒童圖書館員繼續教育之主要論題，並透過電話訪問與問卷調查，研究臺北地區兒童圖書館員參與繼續教育的經驗、影響繼續教育參與態度的因素、以及對繼續教育實施的相關意見。 歸納中外文獻，兒童圖書館員繼續教育的主要論題有三：兒童圖書館員繼續教育之目的、繼續教育與圖書館學基礎教育的關係、以及繼續教育與職業發展的關係。 問卷調查結果顯示：館員在過去三年間的繼續教育參與經驗，依臺北市與臺北縣兩個不同行政區域呈現若干不同的現象，一般而言，「閱讀書籍期刊」、「參加研習會」、「利用函授或空中教學」等為較常見的方式。在繼續教育參與態度的影響因素上，透過因素分析法找出四項造成態度變異的因素：「個人成長的驅力」、「私利性誘因」、「追求事業發展的動機」、以及「阻礙性因素」。在繼續教育實施之相關意見方面，本研究找出館員偏好的繼續教育實施方式共五種：「閱讀書籍期刊」、「參加定期訓練課程」、「聽演講或參加座談」、「參觀其他圖書館」及「參加研習會（研討會）」；在研習證明方面，館員的意見多支持應發予研習證明，在主辦單位方面，則多數沒有意見；費用負擔與機會分配兩項，意見分岐較大；至於館員希望進修的課程內容，則包括「溝通技巧」、「兒童心理」、「兒童教育」、「圖書館自動化」、「兒童與青少年資訊需求」及「活動策劃與設計」等六大項。 | zh_TW |
