| dc.description.abstract | 摘要 館際合作與資源共用對圖書館而言是必然的趨勢，其最終的目的皆在減少人力與資源的重複浪費，以較低的成本滿足多數圖書館的需求，合作編目的目的亦在於此。本研究的目的即在探討圖書館推展合作編目的原因以及合作編目所具有的功能，並以美國圖書館推展合作編目的經驗為例，分別研析美國圖書館合作編目的歷史、書目供應中心與書目網路發展對合作編目所帶來的影響、以及CONSER、NACO、NCCP與InterCat四個全國性的合作編目計畫，希冀能從中汲取經驗，以作為我國圖書館進行合作編目的參考。 從文獻的整理、分析中，得到五項結論，分別為:(1)圖書館施行合作編目的理念在達成「一館編目，多館分享」的目標；(2)美國圖書館合作編目的歷史反映出其對合作編目的需求與重視。(3)書目供應中心改變圖書館的編目作業流程，加深各圖書館對於彼此編目記錄的依賴，因此在推展合作編目上應重視網路的連結與書目記錄在質與量上的平衡；(4)合作編目計畫應有主導機構來負責相關的規劃工作與品質控制；(5)合作編目計畫的推展應重視分工與其均衡性。 根據研究結果，並對我國圖書館推展合作編目提出四點建議：(1)我國圖書館應繼續各項編目標準的修訂與採用，以因應網路化的編目環境並維持書目記錄的品質；(2)籌劃編目責任領域的分配，以擴展合作編目的範圍；(3)加強書目資訊中心在合作編目上的角色與其系統功能，以利書目記錄的傳送與檢索；(4)籌劃正式的合作編目計畫，並重視其明確性、均衡性與公平性。 | zh_TW |
