| dc.description.abstract | 在各個圖書館紛紛發展線上目錄系統的今日,圖書館確實有必要掌握讀者使用線上目錄的狀況,才能瞭解線上目錄是否發揮應有的功能。本研究以國立清華大學線上目錄系統為個案研究對象,並以82年11月1日至11月7日的「讀者查詢過程記錄資料」來研究清華大學線上目錄使用的情況。 本研究共蒐集了3,663筆查詢過程資料,研究結果顯示:清華大學線上目錄使用者最常使用的檢索點是關鍵字(40.4%);而半數以上(58.5%)的使用者在檢索過程中只使用一個檢索點,其中以關鍵字最多(48.2%)。使用者得到零筆結果的比例為31.04%,分析該項結果,則發現標題檢索(73.6%)得到零筆結果的比例高於書名(28%)和作者檢索(27.4%),而得到零筆結果的原因主要係因清華大學的系統有設計不當之處,而使用者也不瞭解系統的輸入規則。 針對以上的結果,乃提出以下的建議供清華大學圖書館及其他圖書館在發展或改進線上目錄時之參考: 一、在使用者得到零筆結果時,系統能有適切的提示,來指引使用者找到所需的資料。 二、修改線上輔助功能(HELP)的說明及書面操作手冊之內容,使其簡單、明瞭,並提供線上提示(prompt)的功能。 三、改進關鍵字查詢的方法為全文檢索的方式。 四、改進標題查詢的方法為全文檢索的方式,並提供適當的參照 五、重新考慮畫面的設計及檢索點的多寡。 六、改進查詢過程資料記錄的方法,儘可能詳細的記錄,才能作為線上目錄使用調查最有效的工具。 七、增加圖書館的館藏量,減低使用者查不到資料的比例。 | zh_TW |
