dc.description.abstract | 許多的機構組織,隨著新科技的發展與應用、世界經濟、社會經濟、以及知識經濟等因素的形成與改變,為求順應環境,紛紛自我調整、重新定位,希望藉由組織現有狀況的評估與瞭解,尋求對於組織未來規劃的因應方法,期望達到有效的經營與管理。 美國圖書館界的評鑑,於1920年代之初,即陸續被提倡。但因母機構的需求不同,其所採用的評估方法,呈現多樣化的趨勢。而後在美國公共圖書館學會於1982年所出版的〔公共圖書館服務成效評估〕手冊後,提供美國圖書館界對於「數量性」評估方法的應用。此手冊的出版,引起其他類型圖書館開始研究不同性質圖書館所能採行的評估項目及方法。1990年,美國圖書館學會出版有關大學暨學術圖書館績效評估的手冊-〔評量學術圖書館之績效〕,也提供大學暨學術圖書館在實施評估時的參考。 目前,我國大學圖書館對績效評估的實施並不明確,但為機構組織的有效運作與管理,確有其存在的必要性。本論文首先探討美國圖書館界對於績效評估的意義,以及在圖書館界所採用的評估項目、實施狀況;探討我國大學圖書館有關績效評估的現況;同時以美國圖書館的實施經驗,採取值得借鏡的部份,並針對我國大學圖書館,提出規劃應注意的事項,作為日後欲實施時之參考。 | zh_TW |
