| dc.description.abstract | 本研究的目的在於探討期刊管理之基本特性與不同的組織型態、調查我國大學圖書館期刊管理組織現況、分析影響我國大學圖書館期刊管理組織型態之因素、以及瞭解期刊館員對期刊管理作業及所應採取組織型態之看法。本研究以問卷調查法?主要研究方法，普查我國23所大學圖書館及其期刊館員共207人，回收有效問卷圖書館部份21份、館員部份153份，回收率分別?91.3％和73.9％，以社會科學統計套裝軟體（SPSS）進行統計工作，所用的資料分析方法主要是次數分配及百分比。 研究結果顯示，我國大學圖書館設置期刊部門的比例偏低，不到五分之一的圖書館設置期刊部門；無一所大學圖書館的期刊業務完全集中在同一部門處理，均採分散處理方式；分館、館藏及經費等因素會影響我國大學圖書館設置期刊部門的比例。大部份的期刊館員認?期刊處理工作比其他類型資料處理來得重要、複雜，超過一半以上的期刊館員對館內目前投注的期刊工作人力感到不足，多數期刊館員認?期刊檔案記錄需有專責單位集中維護，九成的期刊館員贊成單獨設置期刊部門來處理期刊。 根據研究結果提出以下建議：一、修正大學規程，使圖書館組織編制更具彈性；二、圖書館應設置專責部門，處理期刊業務；三、加速期刊自動化，俾利檔案維護與管理。 | zh_TW |
