| dc.description.abstract | 隨著雷射技術的不斷開發及應用，使光學產品逐漸進駐人類日常生活各類活動中，其中以光碟唯讀記憶體（Compact Disk- Read Onl Memory，簡稱CD-ROM）的推出，對圖書館資料之儲存及檢索的影響既深且廣，一般而言，CD-ROM在圖書館的應用，可歸納為參考服務之資料庫檢索、公用目錄，及技術服務等三大範疇。 本研究主要目的：一、調查我國大學圖書館選購及管理CD-ROM之作業方式，調查項目包括購置CD-ROM之經費來源、選擇代理商的考慮因素、出版消息的取得途徑、選購CD-ROM的考慮因素、處理CD-ROM之方式、CD-ROM管理辦法及讀者利用指導等。二、分析我國大學圖書館CD-ROM館員使用CD-ROM之經驗、對CD-ROM之評價、及業務處理上應用CD-ROM之情形。三、根據研究結果提出建議，作為改進圖書館作業之參考。 本研究主要採用問卷調查法，於八十年四月十五日至七月五日期間，普查我國二十一所大學圖書館及其CD-ROM館員管理及使用CD-ROM之情形。館員問卷回收率為67.9 %，有效問卷計198份，機構問卷計回收15份。以「社會科學統計套裝軟體」（簡稱SPSS）進行統計，分析方法是百分比分析與卡方檢定。 研究結果顯示，目前我國大學圖書館購置CD-ROM之經費來源以圖書經費佔多數，並以工作或讀者需求作為選購CD-ROM之首要考慮因素；圖書館處理CD-ROM之方式並不一致，多數圖書館皆具登錄程式，僅少數將其分類編目處理：而圖書館的CD-ROM工作站多維持單機之作業方式；其中多數圖書館並提供讀者CD-ROM服務僅酌收報表紙費用，且依需要不定期舉辦利用指導。 大部份大學圖書館CD-ROM館員使用CD-ROM之經驗是肯定的，並認為CD-ROM優於紙本及線上資料庫；而讀者服務部門CD-ROM 館員認為CD-ROM服務會提昇圖書館形象，技術服務部門CD-ROM館員則利用CD-ROM工作站協助工作之進行。 根據研究結果對大學圖書館提出幾點建議：一、評估經費分配；二、確定館藏發展原則；三、裝設CD-ROM網路；四、設置CD-ROM專職專業人員：五、加強推廣及利用指導：六、研議館際合作之可行性。 | zh_TW |
