| dc.description.abstract | 自1988年7月至1990年12月，於台灣大學校園內觀察記錄家馬蜂Polistes jadwigae的個體發育及部落成長。結果得知家馬蜂1989年的卵期為7.0±1.2天(n=270)，幼蟲期16.7±2.6天(n=137)，蛹期15.1±1.4天(n=202)；1990年的卵期為7.3±1.2天(n=308)，幼蟲期22.3±4.1天(n=139)，蛹期14.0±1.3天(n=192)。兩年的數據之間有顯著差異。家馬蜂在3月初開始建窩，總建窩數在3月底至4月中旬達到最高峰，所有觀察到的蜂窩都是由1隻創始蜂(foundress)開始建造(n=597)。根據1989年記錄5個蜂窩部落成長情形(colony growth pattern)，得知各窩第一隻工蜂分別於5月10日至24日間羽化；此後，家馬蜂部落快速成長。一般而言，部落在8月以後不再成長。家馬蜂在越冬前有棄窩的現象，1988年8月10日到11月20日棄窩數目平均每日0.63個；11月21日到12月11日之間，棄窩數目平均每日4.3個(棄窩數目共91個)；12月12日以後，棄窩數目又減緩平均每日0.43個。家馬蜂之天敵至少包括虎頭蜂、螞蟻、螟蛾及人類。11月至2月間是家馬蜂的越冬期，除了在少數溫暖的日子外出外，在野外均未看到牠們。而此時室內飼養之家馬蜂會緊靠在一起，對外界的刺激幾乎沒有反應。1988年標記82隻家馬蜂，翌春僅發現2隻，這2隻蜂均在出生窩(natal nest)的附近建窩。 研究期間記錄家馬蜂共有27種窩上行為與8種窩外行為。創始蜂的工作包括建窩、產卵及育幼。不論子代的發育階段為卵亞期(egg substage)或幼蟲亞期(larval substage)，在雨天及陰天的創始蜂(n＝7)終日停留窩上，並不外出。晴天的創始蜂每天外出的時間平均為140.7±91.1分鐘(n=5)。1990年4月28日(晴天)在同一時段(8時20分?11時20分)觀察12隻創始蜂，每隻平均外出6.8±4.1次(n＝12)，每次外出時間平均為8.2±7.6分鐘(n=71)，個體間之活動差異很大。創始蜂在工蜂羽化後4天之內仍外出覓食、回窩育幼或餵食工蜂，唯每次外出平均時間(7.2±8.1分鐘，n=15)較羽化前期短；在羽化後期的第5日以後的10次觀察中創始蜂皆停留於窩上沒有外出。7至9月間觀察3個蜂窩，發現其中2窩的第一隻蜂離窩外出的時間與當日日出時間顯著相關(r1＝0.762，r2＝0.793)；最後一隻蜂返回蜂窩的時間則與當日日落時間顯著相關(r1＝0.957，r2=0.978)。7至9月間觀察記錄3個蜂窩，清晨第一隻蜂離窩的平均照度為118.6±183.7Lx (n=19)；傍晚最後一隻蜂返窩時的平均照度為49.8±90.2Lx (n=29)，差異並不顯著。1990年夏季觀察家馬蜂取水活動時，標記4隻取水的個體，均會重覆往返水池或水溝取水，且取水的時間集中於蜂窩受到日照的時刻。1990年10月在越冬前以紗網罩住蜂窩上的蜂群，顯示罩住的雌蜂比雄蜂先死亡。 | zh_TW |
