| dc.description.abstract | 科技性專門圖書館於近百年來有長足之發展,且為帶領圖書館進入資訊中心境界的重要動力之一。而專門圖書館與其母機構間有十分密切之關係,彼此互相支持,相輔相成。本研究擬從探討國內外相關理論與專題研究開始,繼而研究國內科技性專門圖書館對其母機構提供之服務項目,及其母機構對圖書館在政策、人事、經費、空間設備之支持程度,兩者之配合程度,圖書館行政健全與否之因素,面臨的挑戰與困難等相關問題。同時,進一步分析不同類型圖書館與母機構在以上項目中是否有顯著差異。 本研究以問卷調查法為主要研究方法;研究對象為於民國77年11月以前參加「中華民國科技圖書館暨資料單位館際合作組織」之155個圖書館暨資料單位。回收104份有效問卷,有效統計率為67.1%。採用「社會科學統計套裝軟體」(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences,簡稱SPSS)進行統計,分析方法以百分比分析、卡方檢定、單因數變異數分析為主。 主要之研究結果為:從八種角度分析後,各在部份行政、服務項目、支持程度上顯示出顯著差異。綜合而言,圖書館之母機構為以財團或社團法人之組織型態成立之理工科研究性機構,而圖書館位於母機構中較高之組織層級,附屬於資訊中心及研究發展部門,或以資訊中心為正式名稱,供公眾使用者,在呈現差異的項目中,有較佳之表現。科技性專門圖書館之困難多為組織及人事問題。 因此本研究提出以下的建議:(一)成立新圖書館時,先考慮母機構本身之體制;(二)圖書館在母機構中應位於較高的組織層級及適當的附屬部門;(三)圖書館以較正式的方式向上級主管報告,以多樣化的管道與母機構內所有員工溝通;(四)圖書館應管應為專業且專職人員;(五)擴大專業館員編制,授予館員專業性職稱,鼓勵或直接幫助館員從事持續教育;(六)建立正規預算制度,爭取充裕之經費與空間設備;(七)提昇服務品質,擴展服務功能,轉變服務型態;(八)以客觀標準評估圖書館服務續效。 | zh_TW |
