| dc.description.abstract | 由於廿世紀科技研究快速的成長及電腦通訊技術的進步，使得圖書館在面臨「資訊爆炸」的壓力之下，得以借助電子計算機高速處理資料的能力，從事資訊的儲存，處理及檢索等工作。這項利用電腦從事書目性資訊檢索的服務，在歐美國家已發展二十年有餘。而我國臺灣地區自民國六十八年起，透過人造衛星銜接美國境內的傳播中心，與美國各資料庫供應商連線，而成為此項服務的用戶之一。本調查研究主要是要達到下列幾項目的： （1）．瞭解提供此項服務單位的服務現況。 （2）．調查從事此項服務的檢索館員之學科背景，服務經驗，訓練，工作量及服務現況。 （3）．歷年使用資料庫的情況，並預測此項服務的未來成長趨勢。 （4）．調查使用這項服務讀者的背景，資訊需求及對這項服務的評價等。 本研究是以問卷法為主，訪問法為輔。由調查結果顯示，至民國七十六年八月底止，臺灣地區共有十九個圖書館及單位提供此項服務，並有三十六位檢索館員從事這項檢索服務的工作。依歷年資料庫使用統計顯示，科技資訊仍是我國最迫切之需求。99.1％的讀者對圖書館提供此項檢索服務持肯定支援態度。而資料平均獲取率是58.5％。 | zh_TW |
