| dc.description.abstract | 本研究旨在探討公共圖書館讀者與非讀者在人口統計變項、媒體利用行?、生活型態及對公共圖書館態度上的差異，並分析讀者與非讀者對公共圖書館之態度是否與其生活型態有關。由於人力、時間有限，無法進行全面調查，於是選擇規劃較完善的臺北市民生社區?個案研究的對象。 本研究主要採用問卷調查法，首先蒐集國內外相關文獻，據以參考編製「公共圖書館讀者與非讀者特質調查問卷」，並於民國七十六年二月十四日至三月十五日期間，進行訪問調查。總計有效問卷?314份。所蒐集的調查資料皆利用?育部電子計算機中心的社會科學統計套裝程式(SPSSX)進行分析。主要的統計方法包括項目分析、次數分配、卡方檢定、因素分析、t檢定、變異數分析、正準相關分析及?歸分析等。 研究結果發現：一、讀者與非讀者在個人收入及職業兩種人口統計變項上有顯著差異；二、讀者與非讀者在媒體利用行?上沒有顯著差異；三、讀者與非讀者在「運動強身」、「宗?信仰」、「社會變遷」三種生活型態上有顯著差異；四、讀者與非讀者在「公共圖書館應該加強推廣工作」及「公共圖書館存在與否對個人無影響」二種態度上有顯著差異；五、讀者與非讀者對公共圖書館的態度與其部份生活型態具有顯著相關。 根據研究結果對公共圖書館提出以下建議：一、改善大?對公共圖書館的態度；二、發揮公共圖書館?民?自我?育中心的功能；三、建立公共圖書館?商業資訊及休閒資訊的供應中心；四、充實館藏、加強參考服務；五、爭取充裕經費，加強推廣工作；六、採行企業行銷觀念，積極主動傳播書訊。 | zh_TW |
