| dc.description.abstract | 近年來期刊之重要性提高，出版數量遽增，加上期刊價格不斷增加，造成大學圖書館期刊訂購之困難。面臨經費的刪減與期刊逐年驚人的上漲問題。本論文?針對此一問題，進行期刊使用研究，作?選購與刪除之參考依據。基本假設?：「圖書館少數期刊即可滿足大多數讀者的需求。」?驗證此一假設，本論文探討的項目有二：一、研究期刊使用情形，以評鑑期刊使用價值。二、根據期刊價值，決定期刊選購與刪除的優先順序。 以國立臺灣大學工學院聯合圖書室的期刊館藏?研究對象，進行期刊使用調查。採用兩種方法：一、利用期刊調查單，直接收集工聯讀者使用各刊頻率。二、以博碩士論文引用期刊文獻分析法，收集工學院博碩士論文引用期刊次數。分析結果，皆明顯呈現：少數期刊佔大多數使用與引用比率。肯定本論文之假設。並驗證布萊德福分佈定律（?經常引用的論文出自少數的核心期刊，而呈報酬遞減現象），以該定律之分部分析與圖解方式，分別驗證。結果符合該定律。謹以本論文之研究所得，作?期刊選購與刪除之理論基礎。並以研究結果，提供國內各大學工學西文期刊訂購與刪除之參考。 | zh_TW |
