| dc.description.abstract | 無論國內外，有關專門圖書館員學科背景（專業知識及學科知識），與其工作表現和滿意度方面的研究，似乎仍相當欠缺；加上國內外圖書資訊頜域的大環境條件並不相似，針對我國國情與本土性研究需求之考量，故研究者認為實有進一步調查研究之必要，以提供專門圖書館當局（母機構）在遴選新進館員，與規劃現任館員在職進修和繼續教育的參考，且供圖書資訊教育學界擬定專門圖書館員培育課程之參照，盼能加速專門圖書館員專業能力與服務品質的提昇，此乃本研究之主要動機。 本研究之目的在：（1）探討國內外與專門圖書館員學科背景、工作表現與工作滿意度相關的文獻。（2）調查國內研究機構類型專門圖書館員學科背景之現狀，即館員具備專業知識與學科專長二者之現況；與其對學科背景的看法、工作表現和工作滿意度三者，並分析其是否有交互影響的關係存在。（3）檢驗國內專門圖書館員學科背景完整與否，在對學科背景的看法、工作表現和工作滿意度三方面是否有所差異。（4）歸納研究結果，以提供國內研究機構圖書館遴選新進人員，及圖書資訊教育學界規劃專門圖書館員教育的參考，俾便加速其專業能力與服務品質的提升。 本研究採文獻分析法與問卷調查法來蒐集資料與相關資訊，研究者擬以文獻分析法及實證研究並行，除分析專門圖書館員學科背景、工作表現與工作滿意度之相關文獻且加以彙整外，並利用問卷調查法進行館員意見之蒐集，分析館員學科背景的完整性，與其對學科背景的看法、工作表現及工作滿意度三者問之關連，以作為母機構遴選和培訓人員之參考。 本研究結果顯示，研究機構圖書館員之學科背景，仍以圖書資訊學為主；年資淺的研究機構圖書館員居多數；專門學科主題知識與圖書資訊學專業知識兩者兼備，是對館員勝任工作職務最佳的狀態；專門學科主題知識與圖書資訊學專業何者重要的爭議，至今仍未有定論；工作升遷、進修和待遇是令館員最不滿意的三項；影響館員對學科背景看法的「個人屬性」多達九項；「繼續教育」和「在職進修」，對加強學科知識與圖資專業均是相當迫切且重要的；「工作態度」和「學習動機」，對勝任研究機構圖書館員的重要性，並不下於學科背景與圖資專業的擁有；學科背景、工作表現、工作滿意度三者，存在相互牽連的關係。本論文就上述研究結果提出七項建議：（1）從正規教育著手，培春專業館員。（2）雅動繼續教育，加強專門圖書館員專業訓練與服務態度。（3）正視研究機構圖書綰員在職進修的重要性。（4）人力資源合理分配，建立公閉、公平、公正的升遷管道。（5）依據研究人員之資訊需求與尋求行為規劃館員的訓練活動。（6）訂定專門圖書館標準，建立館員評鑑制度。（7）提高研究機構圖書館員的薪資待遇。 | zh_TW |
