摘要: | 本研究在對南仁山區欖仁樣區內之大葉羅漢松(Podocarpus marcrophylla (Thunb.) Sweet)族群之性別、年齡進行取樣調查。以生長輪徑級增加之狀況,並比對1997年樣區複查的結果,來探討大葉羅漢松生命史中性別、族群結構與生育環境區別下的族群特徵。 研究結果顯示,樣區內之大葉羅漢松族群在胸徑4.1cm即有開花的植株出現,而部分徑級較大的植株仍未開,其生理成熟年齡與胸徑大小相關不大,似與所處的環境較相關。 性別比率則除了分佈在緩風型生育地的植株外,強風型以及全樣區來看,都呈明顯的偏雌比率,與Kaplan所提出的高密度族群傾向偏雌比率的結果相符,也可能與Gibson & Menges所描述風媒雌雄異株的植物,在幹擾頻繁的區域,特別易出現偏雌比率有關。雖然小徑級的植株有許多未能瞭解其性別,但從大徑級植株亦呈明顯偏雌性來看,本區的大葉羅漢松是極有擴展潛力的樹種。 大葉羅漢松小苗初生的第一年死亡率極高,但如能渡過此階段而能長到DBH大於1cm的小苗,存活率很高,此特性使得大葉羅漢松成為樣區內優勢樹種中死亡率最低者。 在林冠破碎的情形下,羅漢松生長對林隙的反應並不明顯,反而可能因林隙出現使得其暴露在東北季風的壓力下,對生長而言增添許多不可預期的變數。而實際上強風坡之大葉羅漢松平均單株成長率是小於緩風坡。 大葉羅漢松的徑級結構呈反J型,而齡級結構則為偏鈴,兩者明顯不相符。以齡級結構來看,大葉羅漢松族群並非全齡級的結構,但從小樹到大樹仍然呈現完整的徑級結構,顯然在大葉羅漢松主要齡級的壽命期間內,仍然能不斷有良好的新增小群的補充,使得大葉羅漢松在南仁山得以長久並維持他族群的優勢。 大葉羅漢松族群生命史仍未有很好的瞭解,尤其是小徑級族群的年齡結構方面,尚待更完善的調查方法,才能將羅漢松完整的族群結構呈現出。 The major subject in this study is to investigate age structure of population of Podocarpus macrophylla (Thunb.) Sweet in a 3-ha permanent plot in Nanjenshan subtropical rain forest of southern Taiwan. Sex observed that stems were more than 3cm diameter at breast height (DBH) and annual growth ring sampled 44 trees. Consider the dynamics check data in 1997, to confer population structure at different habitats. The smallest DBH of bloom individuals was 4.1cm, but there were some larger stems haven't flowing in our observed period of two years. It's seems that there were weak relationship between physiological maturity and DBH class, but related to microhabitat. Sex ratio were exhibited female-biased in whole plot and windward I habitat except windward II habitat. This result were conformed to Kaplan (1972) theory that high density population were trended to female-biased, and possible concern about wind-pollination dioecious species show female-biased that location at frequency disturbance area that description by Gibson & Menges (1994). It's revealed P. macrophyllus were colonial potential species in this plot. Trees with different growth rates and size-age relationships occurred in the same stand. Diameter structure curves were reverse J shape and age structure exhibited slight bell shape. Data on both age and spatial dispersion added critical information on stand dynamics not available from size alone. |
