摘要: | 日本作家佐藤春夫(1892-1964年)於大正9年(1920年),因失戀,受舊友所邀而來到殖民地臺灣旅行,因緣際會也去了廈門、漳州,並將這趟旅行的經驗轉化為散文遊記與小說作品。
近年來,從日本學界對佐藤春夫生平考察的新發現,可知這趟殖民地之旅始於兩段與家人有關的三角關係之挫敗,佐藤春夫在旅途中的所見所聞,在不同的空間中暫住、遊覽時,也都受到這些情感經驗的召喚,不斷回顧「家」的桎梏,並反思其意義。這些嘗試的痕跡,從中獲得的領悟、心理上的糾葛,則透過空間描寫而被保留下來。 本研究嘗試以空間分析的方式,討論〈旅人〉、〈霧社〉、〈殖民地之旅〉、《南方紀行》等散文遊記,與〈女誡扇綺譚〉、〈星〉等小說作品。透過分析這些旅行作品中的空間,發現其中混合了「支那趣味」與臺灣、福建的旅行經驗,這些在美學和技術上都有矛盾的虛構空間,不僅是日本在臺灣的殖民地治理的折射,還反映出他在旅途中感受到的恐怖與不安,以及對家庭的想像,並從中發現了自我的盲點。 The Japanese author Satou Haruo (1892-1964), due to a breakup, accepted an old friend's invitation to come to Taiwan in the 9th year of the Taishou period (1920), moreover having the opportunity to travel to Xiamen and Zhangzhou. He recorded the experiences of his travels in essays and novels. Observations on the life of Satou Haruo by Kono Tatsuya in recent years have shown that this colonial journey started from setbacks in two love triangles with family members. All the sights and sounds on Satou Haruo's travels, his short stays in and visits to different spaces, have all been influenced by this emotional experience, as Satou constantly looks back on the shackles of 'house/home' and reflects on their significance. The traces of these attempts and the understanding and psychological struggles he got from them, have been preserved through the writing of space. This research uses the method of spatial analysis to discuss the travelling essays 'Traveler', ' Wushe ', 'Travel in Colony', ' Traveling Records of Heading for South', and the novels 'The Curious Case of the Lessons-for-women Fan' and 'Star'. The analysis of space in these works on travelling shows that they mix 'Chinoiserie' with the experience of travelling in Taiwan and Fujian. These aesthetically and technically contradictory fictional spaces not only reflect the colonial governance of Taiwan, but also reflect the fear and insecurity Satou felt during his travels, his imaginations of family, and his personal blind spots. |
