摘要: | 近年來,三維顯示變得越來越流行,尤其是裸視三維顯示器越來越佔有重要位置。光場顯示器重構了物體點發出的各個方向的光線,相當於建立無限多個視域,因此它能夠提供平滑的運動視差和良好的顯示效果。然而,三維顯示可能會引發視覺疲勞的症狀。當人觀看立體顯示器時,人眼的雙目視覺機制以及調節和輻輳的衝突可能會導致嚴重的視覺疲勞。因此,尋找合適的測量方法來評價人類觀看立體顯示器時的視覺疲勞對於優化三維顯示系統,提高觀賞效果等方面均具有重要意義。 在本研究中,我們提出了針對光場立體顯示器的影像質量和視覺疲勞的全面評估方法,並與2D組進行對比。評估方法結合主觀調查問卷以及客觀生理訊號測量。有30位受試者參與了本實驗。實驗要求分別觀看2D和兩種不同的3D顯示效果並進行對比。受試者每十分鐘填寫一次調查問卷來記錄實時的感受。調查問卷包括詢問顯示器的顯示圖像效果質量以及當前的視覺疲勞程度。客觀訊號腦電圖、心電圖和眼電圖在實驗過程中全程記錄。結果顯示,主觀問卷與客觀指標均顯示出受試者在觀看顯示器期間越來越疲勞,並且觀看3D顯示器時相對2D更加集中注意力。另外,觀看3D時相比觀看同樣內容的2D顯示也更加疲勞。該實驗也驗證了腦波能量、心率變異度以及眨眼次數能夠敏感地反映評價視覺疲勞。該結果也對未來優化此種光場三維顯示系統具有重要影響。 Three-dimensional (3D) display has recently become more and more popular, especially those without glasses. Light-field display represents the rays in every direction emitted from the object and it’s equal to setting up infinite viewing zones. It provides the smoothest motion parallax and the best overall performance among auto-stereoscopic displays. However, the visual fatigue may cause by 3D display, especially the auto-stereoscopic display. The factors such as the natural mechanism of human’s binocular visual system and the accommodation-convergence conflict will lead to severe discomforts for people watching on 3D display. Therefore, it is important to find out a suitable measurement to evaluate the effect of visual fatigue for people while watching the 3D displays and then optimize the 3D system to improve the viewing effect. In this study, a comprehensive evaluation of visual fatigue and quality of displays caused by light-field 3D display and 2D display is proposed. The evaluation method combines the subjective questionnaires with the objective measurements. 30 subjects participated in this research are asked to watch the 3D and 2D displays for 30 mins respectively. Subjects fill in the subjective questionnaire every 10 mins. The questionnaires include the quality of the display and the effect of visual fatigue. Objective indicators such as Electroencephalography (EEG), Electrocardiograph (ECG) and Electrooculogram (EOG) are recorded during the whole experiment. The results according to the subjective and objective indexes all show that subjects feel more and more fatigue during watching the image of the displays. Subjects have more concentrate on 3D display than 2D display. Moreover, the visual fatigue from watching 3D display is higher than the same images displayed in 2D display. The experiment further validates that brain wave energy, HRV and number of blinks could be physiological indexes to evaluate visual fatigue and have a potential influence to optimize 3D display. |
