摘要: | 本論文提出了一個能夠讓使用者更方便的製作與編輯動態圖像(cinemagraph)的系統。
動態圖像是一個近年興起的特殊藝術形式,它同時具有靜態影像與動態影片的性質。 它主要的特徵在於畫面中只有少部分的物體在動作,其他部分皆為靜止。 相較於影像或影片,這樣的藝術形式更能夠吸引人的注意,或更能表現原本不起眼,容易被忽略的畫面內容。 這樣的效果,使得近來,動態圖像的表現形式,在網路上普遍得到了大眾的欣賞與接受。 然而,要製作高品質的動態圖像並不是一件輕鬆的工作。 為了做出細緻、無接縫的動態圖像, 使用者經常必須花費許多力氣不斷嘗試人為的調教與編修。 而本篇論文所提出的系統, 允許使用者只藉由簡易的操作,即可完成無接縫的動態圖像。 實驗結果顯示,相較於目前被廣為使用的作法, 我們的系統足以產生更高品質的動態圖像。 This paper presents a system to assist users on creating cinemagraphs from videos with ease. A cinemagraph is a still photograph in which a repeated movement occurs within part of the subject while the rest keeps still. By localizing motion, it draws the viewer's attention to certain aspects of an image. This new art form gains popularity recently as the best way to capture a moment in time or create a true living portrait in our digital age while embracing users' need to communicate visually and share instantly. However, creation of cinemagraphs is often not an easy task. %A cinemagraph is often created from a input video. To make cinemagraphs seamless in appearance both spatially and temporally, production of cinemagaphs often requires tedious and time-consuming manual editing and tweaking. %Thus, only professionals can enjoy creating their own cinemagraphs. The proposed system relieves users' burdens by only asking users to select a frame as the starting point and draw a rough mask to identify the region where motion will be preserved. With these simple inputs, the proposed system automatically produces seamless cinemagraphs by using motion estimation and image warping. Experiments show that our method can produce more visually pleasing results than the popular masking methods. |
