dc.description.abstractLaunching an innovative venture is inherently risky. Many factors will contribute to the venture's eventual success or failure. In societies which tend towards risk aversion, encouraging innovation requires minimizing this startup risk. This paper highlights seven strategies derived from real-world case studies that entrepreneurs have used to minimize startup risk when launching innovative ventures.en
