| dc.description.abstract | Recruiting firms can mitigate the risk of high unemployment rates through geographic diversification. To do so, they may choose from one of the Four Basic Strategies of global expansion. Over time, however, as firms grow and expand around the globe, they often need to change strategies due to the emergence of competitors. This thesis involves the case study of the specialized staffing firm SThree and the choices it faces in a changing competitive environment.
