摘要: | 透過雲端運算,我們希望協助智慧型終端裝置達成高效能及低耗
電的表現,本論文提出了一套系統模型,描述雲端如何與終端裝置合 作。在終端裝置上,我們提出虛擬雲核的概念與實現方案,可運用虛 擬雲核來協助處理計算,並且做為一種終端裝置與雲端交換工作執行 的介面,藉此減輕終端裝置運算的負擔,同時達到高效能和省電的目 標。遠端執行是實現虛擬雲核的可行方案之一,其中,工作分配是遠 端執行的關鍵問題。因此,我們也透過探討工作分配的現存技術,定 義正規的問題模型,並提出最可行的工作分配演算法。配合此工作分 配演算法,得以提高整套虛擬雲核實現方案的工作效能。 Mobile applications are becoming more and more complex and diverse, while the resources of mobile devices are limited. Improving the performance and reducing the energy of the mobile devices are the critical issues for such applications. This paper propose the concept of virtual cloud cores, which can be used to share the computing workload and the energy consumption between mobile devices and the clouds. First, we illustrate the architecture of virtual cloud cores. With the virtual cloud cores, energy saving as a service becomes a novel idea and cooperation model between mobile devices and the clouds. Then we model the energy saving service optimization problem to minimize the energy consumption for the cloud when the cloud provides this service for mobile devices. We propose an optimal dynamic programming approach for the offline environment and a strategy for the online environment. The results of simulations conducted to compare the proposed algorithms and a conventional approach are very encouraging. |
