| dc.description.abstract | Roystonea 是一套我們平行實驗室所提出來的雲端作業系統,它的特色是提供一個可抽換的架構,讓管理者可以很有彈性地抽換系統內部的元件,來達到不用關閉全部系統,就可以佈署新的元件,來更新系統。在舊有的 Roystonea 上,佈署虛擬機器上,使用傳統的佈署方法,在遇到大規模的虛擬機器需求時,將會非常耗時。我們加入了新的佈署方法到系統,來讓 Roystonea 傳輸映像檔降低,而使使用者減少等候時間,可以更快速地存取自己的所需要虛擬機器。這篇論文提供 Roystonea 在實際開啓大量虛擬機器時的相關實驗數據,初步的實驗結果顥示我們的系統可以有效降低原先版本的佈署時間。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | Roystonea is our experimental IaaS cloud
computing system that provides virtual machines instances. The architecture of allows pluggable subsystem components. For example, all essential components of Roystonea, including networking subsystem, virtual machines manager, infrastructure subsystem, can be replaced with different component. We improve virtual machines image deployment of the Roystonea by leverage the Bittorrent transferring method. The new deployment method significantly speeds up the virtual machines creation flow when we have a large amount of virtual machine requests, when compared with our previous implementation that use unicast to distribute image. | en |
