摘要: | 隨著科技的演進,媒體創業成本大幅下降。加上傳統大眾媒體無法滿足所有閱聽人,媒體創業成為可能,甚至逐漸形成一股風潮。然而,媒體創業卻沒有因此變得簡單。小眾化、數位轉型成為全世界媒體的課題。尤其,傳統的廣告、發行模式面臨崩解,多方探索財源,尋找可行的商業模式,對新興媒體創業家而言,是更加急迫的問題。
本深度採訪論文試圖了解,在環境如此艱難下,創業者為何選擇創業。他們又如何決定媒體營運的方向,並在有限的資源下生存,創造新的媒體。 With the advance of technology, the costs of media startups have dropped dramatically. At the same time, the existing media cannot satisfy all the audiences. Media startups become feasible, though still uncertain, including how to find niche market, digital transformation and especially lack of resources, compared with traditional media. New media entrepreneur have to find feasible and sustainable models. This in-depth report explores why these new media entrepreneurs took adventures in media startups rather than finding a secured jobs in existing mass media. Also, this report reveals how they have decided their own directions, experimented new digital storytelling under restricted conditions and endeavored to build business models. |
