摘要: | 本研究旨在探討資優生及普通生其時間運用與學業成就之關係。為達上述目的,本研究採用自編之「時間運用記錄表」為研究工具,研究對象為大台北地區某國中學生,樣本人數共564人。採描述統計、t檢定、單因子變異數分析及皮爾森積差相關等方法進行統計分析。研究結論如下:
一、 國中生的課餘時間大部分花在補習時間及練習時間。 二、 資優生和普通生的練習時間及休閒時間有顯著差異,資優生運用在課業方面的時間多於普通生。 三、 女生運用在課業方面的時間多於男生。 四、 時間運用因不同年級學生有顯著差異,九年級學生休閒及娛樂時間多於七八年級學生。 五、 各年級不同性別的時間運用有部份差異。 六、 男生的數學領域及自然領域學業成就表現顯著優於女生。 七、 八九年級男女生學業成就表現有顯著差異。八年級男生社會領域學業成就表現優於女生;九年級男生數學領域學業成就表現優於女生。 八、 普通生的補習及練習時間與學業成就呈現顯著正相關;運動、休閒及娛樂時間與學業成就呈現顯著負相關。 九、 資優生的練習時間與學業成就呈現顯著正相關;補習時間與學業成就呈現顯著負相關。 基於以上研究結果,本研究提出對教育現場及未來實務研究之若干建議,以作為參考。 The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship betweeen time use and academic achievement of gifted and ordinary students. The study uses a specially designed 'time-use record form', which was administered to 564 junior high school students sampled form one of the junior high schools in Taipei. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation analysis methods for statistical analysis. Conclusions are as follows: 1. The junior high school students spend most of their spare time on tutoring and studying. 2. Time for study and leisure of gifted and ordinary students are significantly different, while gifted students spend more time for study than ordinary students. 3. Female students spend more time for study than male students, whatever they are gifted or ordinary students. 4. The time use strategy varies with students’ grade, while ninth grade students spend more time for leisure and recreation than eighth and seventh grade students. 5. Male and female students of different grade have different strategies of time use. 6. Science and math academic performance and achievement of male students are significantly higher than female students. 7. There is a significant difference of academic achievement between male and female students in grades eight and nine. Social science academic achievement of eighth-grade male students was higher than female students. And mathematics academic achievement of ninth-grade male students was higher than female students. 8. The investigation showed a positive correlation between time of study and tutoring and academic achievement for ordinary students, while a negative correlation between leisure and entertainment time and academic achievement. 9. The investigation showed a positive correlation between time of study and academic achievement for gifted students, while a negative correlation between tutoring time and academic achievement. Based on the above findings, this study proposes a number of recommendations and future educational practice site research, as a reference. |
