Abstract: | 隨著歐美持續推動、氣候變遷及公民意識提升下,近年ESG議題逐漸受到市場青睞,永續責任投資的資產管理規模更快速成長,顯見將ESG納入投資決策之中已成為不容忽視的趨勢。 本論文由ESG趨勢如何影響資產管理產業未來發展出發,並探討台灣投信業者成功發行ESG基金的個案,透過基金專家訪談、相關數據分析等研究方法,再運用C-SOP闡述策略定位關鍵因素,提供台灣資產管理業者相關經營策略參考方向。 研究結論顯示,ESG有助於提升業者品牌形象,但因金融市場競爭激烈,策略靈活將更為關鍵,尤其從客戶需求出發,獲得投資人認同才能吸引資金長久駐留。建議資產管理業者應先審視自身定位,投入數位資源溝通因應未來,並以創新思維將ESG納入多元化投資主題,對內強化員工ESG認同感,對外則可考慮尋求通路夥伴策略聯盟契機,以打造雙贏的境界。 Against a backdrop of continuous promotion of ESG practices in Europe and US, worsening climate change, and increasing consciousness about global citizenship, ESG has been gradually coming to the fore of the market in recent years. Meanwhile, the AUM of sustainable investment funds is growing rapidly, an indication that integrating ESG in investment decisions is now a trend to be reckoned with. This paper starts with exploring how the rising tide of ESG affects the future of the asset management industry, followed by an examination of successful cases of ESG funds aided by fund expert interviews, related data analysis and other research methods. After that, C-SOP model is leveraged to identify key factors of strategic positioning, offering business strategy suggestions to Taiwan asset management firms. The analysis shows that ESG helps to enhance brand image. That said, fierce market competition has rendered flexibility strategizing ever more critical. A laser-sharp focus on customer needs and investor engagement is increasingly what it takes to keep sales staying for the long haul. Asset management companies should first review their own positioning, invest in digital resources for the future, and incorporate ESG into the theme of diversified investment with innovative thinking. They also need to strengthen the ESG buy-in of their workforce, while at the same time considering forming strategic alliances with external partners to create win-win outcomes. |
