| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | Mushrooms have been consumed from ancient times, not only for using as nutritionally valuable food but also for the potential as medicine and/or functional food. Recently, much attention has been paid on functional foods due to the increasing of health relative concerns. In previous studies, the bioactive compounds from mushrooms have antimicrobial, antioxidant, antitumor, and immunomodulatory properties. In this research, Morchella esculenta (羊肚菌) was selected for studying. Natural products were extracted by ethyl acetate and purified by silica gel chromatography and HPLC. Chemical structures of purified compounds were identified by using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and high resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS). Furthermore, bioactive molecules were investigated by biological activity assay, to see the cytokine release after stimulation in mouse macrophages. Three sterols were isolated from Morchella esculenta. Among them, compound 1 and 3 could inhibit the LPS/ATP-induced interleukin-1β (IL-1β) production in mouse macrophage in a dosage-dependent manner. Therefore, the finding suggests that these compounds can have potentials in immunomodulatory medicine. | en |
