dc.description.abstract | 在我們這個日益互聯的世界,應用程式的資訊存取逐漸地超越行動 裝置的硬體設備限制。本文提出了一個使行動裝置可掛載其他設備上 傳感器的系統解決方案。我們的設計通用於行動系統的傳感器堆棧, 因此可直接支援現有的傳感應用程式和傳感器。此外,我們提出的方 案採用異步存取模式,以方便語義傳遞和設備間的數據報告。這樣的 語義信息允許開發出遠端傳感應用程式可使用的高能效的傳遞政策。 我們使用市場上 Android 智慧型手機與目前流行的應用程式進行實驗, 實驗結果表明我們的設計在能源效率與完成時間都是非常有效的。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | In our increasingly connected world, application paradigms will increasingly exceed a mobile device’s physical boundaries. This paper presents a system solution for a mobile device to mount remote sensors on other devices. Our design is generic to mobile sensor stacks, thus supporting unmodified apps and commodity sensors. Furthermore, it uses an asynchronous access model to facilitate semantics passing and data reporting in between. Such se- mantic information allows the development of an energy-efficient reporting policy for remote sensing applications. The results of experiments conducted on commercial Android smartphones with popular apps demonstrate that our design is very efficient in terms of energy consumption and completion time. | en |
