dc.description.abstractInside NTUH warehouse for clinic history file, every day works of consolidation are executed in order to create free space for store more files, these files are store with an age based storage policy; the work is executed in direction to day ninety that is the oldest day stored. This thesis studies the possibility of change the direction of the consolidation works and the frequency that those works are executed in order to reduce the effort realize in the execution of consolidation work. First the recurrent demand is study to establish the size of everyday and later the distance each block has to be move is determined. Finally the effort of move the files to different anchor days is calculated and the day with the smallest effort is compared with the day choose by hospital.en
