摘要: | 隨按即說(Push-to-talk , PTT)提供一對一,與一對多的通訊服務。PTT類似傳統無線電對講機,且採用半雙工的服務模式。其最重要特色是,使用者之間的通訊藉由按下通話按鈕,即可使用服務,不需其他複雜的設定。在PTT服務中,發話權控制是最重要的議題。當許多想要發話的人,會按下按鈕去競爭發話權。發話權控制會儘快決定,唯一擁有發話權的使用者,且讓其他人處於聆聽的狀態。移動式隨意網路(Mobile Ad Hoc Network , MANET),因其不需任何基礎建設,且容易建構的特性,使其成為許多應用的最佳選擇。本篇論文中,我們分析PTT服務在MANET,分散式發話權控制之效能。每種分散式發話權控制機制,將根據群組化特性分組。我們將定義出不同的效能指標且利用知名的網路模擬器 NS2 進行模擬。藉由模擬結果,評判每一個分散式發話權控制的優缺點。並且提供未來設計新的分散式發話權控制機制之參考依據。 Push-to-talk (PTT) is a service that supports one-to-one and one-to-many group communication. PTT is like a traditional walkie-talkie and provides half-duplex wireless communication. The main characteristic of PTT is that a session is created easily by pressing a button without complicated settings. Floor control is an important issue for PTT. Because the floor control must determine only one member that is permitted to speak as soon as possible when many members in the same session want to talk. The other members will stay in listening mode. Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a proper choice for many applications due to without any infrastructure and easy deployment. In the thesis, we investigate the performance of two distributed floor control mechanisms which are proposed by other researches for PTT over MANET. Each distributed floor control mechanism can operate with or without clustering property. Simulation experiments are conducted by a well known simulation tool, Network Simulator Version 2.34 (NS2), in terms of different performance parameters. It is useful to know advantages and drawbacks of each distributed floor control mechanism from simulation results. After that, we can provide references for designation of new distributed floor control mechanisms in the future. |
