| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | As the technology developing, the convenience and efficiency of the computer has led the changes of work type in organizations. Although the technology was embraced comprehensively, not all the workers would like to accept the technology. Studies in the past discovered that some specific groups of workers (e.g. female) tended to refuse computers in their jobs.
The purpose of this study is to discuss the effect of computerization to the jobs in the case of female professionals. By the concept in educational psychology, computer attitude, and the concepts in human resource management, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, this study investgates the relationships among these variables in order to know the usage of computers whether affects the attitudes toward the job or not in female professionals. Proceeding in questionnaire survey, and the subjects were female professionals who had highly usage of computers in their jobs. This study used the statistical methods; including descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and structural equation modeling to analyze the data. According to hierarchical regression analysis, the results provided support for the hypothesis that computer anxiety had negative effects in job satisfaction, and computer usefulness had positive effects both in job satisfaction as well as organizational commitment. Job satisfaction mediated the relationship between computer usefulness and organizational commitment. Finally, this study tried to explain the the results and made the conclusions. The implications and applications in management suggested that the information and technology education could improve the negative computer attitudes. The limitations and further research directions are discuss in the end. | en |
