以即時訊息架構為基礎之網頁伺服器監控系統實作

Abstract

IM Robot是一套架構於即時訊息平台上之網路伺服器監控管理系統，其皆具主動及被動的特性，故當異常現象發生時，系統便立即主動地利用即時訊息通知網管人員，網管人員也可利用即時訊息詢問本系統，以獲得更詳細的資訊；同時利用即時訊息的通透性，即使網管人員或伺服器處於防火牆後或虛擬網路中，本網管系統仍能正常運作；本系統並具備擴充性，讓網管人員皆能隨時擴增其所需要之功能。

This thesis introduces an implementation of the Instant Message Robot, abbreviated as IMR, to manage and monitor the Web Server. The major characteristic of the IMR is the active notification mechanism. Once an abnormal event happens, the IMR will alert the administrator immediately. Additionally, via the IMR the administrator can easily acquire rich information of the web server, reconfigure the settings, deploy the web application files, and even manipulate the authentication rules without installing extra management tools. Furthermore, since the Instant Message Architecture can traverse the NAT network, the IMR can contact the administrator in any place with Internet connection, either in a public realm or a private one.
