價廉物美的投資策略

Abstract

本研究以1991年5月至2011年4月的台灣股票上市公司為樣本，分析以價值型指標、經營績效指標及財務績效指標選股之投資績效，探討是否能以簡易之投資策略獲得高於市場投資組合之報酬，研究發現條列如下： 1. 將以價值型指標篩選之「價廉投資組合」(或稱為「價值型投資組合」)，持有1年再換股，投資績效確實優於市場投資組合，其中又以淨值市價比篩選之「價廉投資組合」表現最好。 2. 將以經營績效指標篩選之「物美投資組合」，持有1年再換股，投資績效優於市場投資組合，其中又以「前1年度之淨值報酬率-常續利益」與「前2年度總資產報酬率-稅後息前」篩選之「物美投資組合」表現最好。 3. 將以財務績效指標篩選之「財務穩健投資組合」，持有1年再換股，投資績效與市場投資組合相近。 4. 將以「淨值市價比」與「前2年度總資產報酬率-稅後息前」形成之「價廉物美投資組合」，其年報酬率與夏普比率皆高於以其他指標形成之投資組合與市場投資組合。 5. 將「價廉物美投資組合」持有1年再換股，不論是在哪一個月形成，其投資績效皆高於市場投資組合。 6. 針對「價廉物美投資組合」之持有期間進行分析，實證結果發現，「價廉物美投資組合」之持有期間以6個月與1年為佳。 7. 在考量投資之方便性、不同的投資月份與分次投入資金之後，持有「價廉物美投資組合」可以獲得優異的投資績效，顯示此簡單易執行的選股策略確實可行。

The main purpose of this study is to find a simple and practical way for individual investors to make stable profit in Taiwan stock market. Value investing is a popular approach to choose stocks. We utilize value investing strategy, and further evaluate company’s earning power and financial structure altogether to get the portfolio with higher return and sharpe ratio than market portfolio. The empirical results show that selecting higher B/P ratio and 2 years’ ROA together would build up an practical portfolio which has higher return and sharpe ratio than any other portfolio made of other criteria and market portfolio. Changing and adjusting stocks according to the criteria every year could effective bring stable return to investors. Besides, no matter when the portfolio form, this investing strategy would still work. Thus, it would be a simple and practical way to invest in Taiwan stock market.
