dc.description.abstract | 臺灣位於西北太平洋(Northwest Pacific Ocean)西側,在其東邊大洋上衛星高度計及水文資料顯示渦漩(eddy)頻繁存在的現象。氣旋(cyclonic)�反氣旋(anticyclonic)式渦漩可引起水平面高度降低�昇高,其亦可引起海水溫度降低�昇高,故衛星高度計及水文量測常用以觀測渦漩的存在並可用以分析其特性。渦漩於傳遞過程中常造成當地海域流場及溫度的變化,進而影響海水流量與熱量的輸送及交換行為。當其傳遞至臺灣東側與向北之西方邊界流—黑潮交匯後,對黑潮有所影響,近來研究發現大洋中的渦漩與熱帶氣旋的強度亦有關。本論文將以衛星及實測的資料進行比對及分析,並陳述西北太平洋中渦漩的水文及流場特性,並討論其影響深度。
渦漩於空間的水平結構變化及其傳遞,以TOPEX/Poseidon衛星高度計之海水面高度異常值(Sea Surface Height Anomaly, SSHA)作探討,其結果顯示渦漩主要為向西傳遞,於傳播過程中易受周圍流場,或彼此間的交互作用所影響,造成渦漩理論之圓形水平結構發生改變,其主軸長度約300-600公里,SSHA最大值可達25cm,因衛星軌道間隔之解析度限制,小於300km的渦漩無法以SSHA資料清楚辨視。渦漩的水文及流場垂直結構特性,則分別以船測的溫鹽深儀(Conductivity-Temperature-Depth, CTD)量測之水文資料及船碇式都卜勒流剖儀(Ship-board Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler, Sb-ADCP)量測之上層(約300m)流場資料作探討,同時此量測資料可進一步確認衛星觀測之渦漩。為研究渦漩對較深海域流場的影響,利用水文垂直剖面資料及選取Sb-ADCP的流速作參考值,推算絕對地衡流速至1500m。於SSHA顯示氣旋�反氣旋式渦漩存在處,溫度較週遭海域冷�暖,於水深約100公尺處產生最大水平溫差可達8℃,海流呈逆/順時鐘方向,易於水深約100公尺處造成海水流速最大變化達60cm/s,其影響深度雖不易由流速垂直分佈獲知,但檢視各深度溫度異常值,推知渦漩影響深度可至水下1200m。比對衛星SSHA及實測資料推知的動力高度異常值間的相關性,結果顯示兩者具高度相關性,並深入比對各測站兩者的變動關係,顯示衛星資料較不宜運用於近岸。 本文不僅提供現場觀測資料(in-situ)對衛星高度計SSHA資料加以驗證,確認其可用性外,並以實測資料分析於SSHA圖中顯示渦漩的水文及流速垂直剖面結構,近一步了解渦漩的垂直剖面特性。 | zh_TW |
