摘要: | This thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, we develop hydrogen-bonding receptors for biologically important GMP substrate. In the second part, we investigate the formation and properties of fluorescent organic nanoparticles.
Part 1: Molecular Recognition with Guanine Nucleotide Derivatives In this part, we design and synthesize novel compounds based on benzofuran conjugated 1,8-naphthyridene molecules BAN and DAMBAN. We investigate their photophysical properties, binding affinity and the related experiments. DAMBAN shows good and specific binding affinity for guanine derivatives and phosphate anion. BAN also shows good binding ability for guanine derivatives. These efficient fluorescent chemosensors are potentially useful in bioorganic chemical researches. Part 2: Study of Fluorescent Organic Nanoparticles Fluorescent organic nanoparticles (FONs) are expected to hold high potentials with variability and flexibility in material synthesis and nanoparticles preparation. DAMBAN is a typical molecule in our work. DAMBAN molecules form organic nanoparticles that are extremely stable with unusual fluorescence enhancements. The evolving processes have been monitored by means of UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence emission, dynamic light scattering, and scanning electron microscopy. Using different preparation conditions, including precipitation time, temperature, addition rate, addition mode, stirring rate and concentration, the DAMBAN organic nanoparticles with different shapes and diversed sizes are obtained. The extremely stable FONs of DAMBAN are formed in the mixed solutions water and THF with various aging times. The shape of FONs are affected by incubation temperature and the DAMBAN concentration. With higher stirring rate, the FONs of more regular sizes are obtained. Thus, the DAMBAN are processed FONs by different addition modes, and the FONs with uniform size are prepared by using appropriate incubation conditions. The physical, spectroscopic and chemical properties of DAMBAN FONs are studied, and compared with those of monomer and bulk materials. |
