| zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | This study investigated the structure and important processes of posttraumatic growth (PTG), and the unique cultural aspects of PTG in Taiwan. Taking into considerations of some limits and methodological problems of the structured questionnaire or the semi-structured interview for PTG, which is relatively a new research issue at least in Taiwan , this study used the “open-ended interview” and the “grounded theory methodology” to collect and analyze narrative data for survivors of different extents of damages from Taiwan chi-chi earthquake . The results were to make up a framework of classification of PTG, inductively reason some potentially crucial psychological constructs and intermediate processes, and find some cultural-bound contents of PTG. Finally, a relational assumption between important categories and constructs of PTG was proposed. | en |
