dc.description.abstract本研究主要分為兩部分: 臨床下背痛量測與多通道無線生醫信號記錄器之開發。前者發展一套能客觀且精確定量評估疼痛程度之方法,並以之量化評估下背痛患者在心理與生理分析反應。本研究亦發展無線多通道記錄器作為量測疼痛生理信號之設備,此記錄器採用無線傳輸方式可舒緩受試者內心之焦慮及不會侷限受測者的動作,更可避免電極導程脫落的問題。
本記錄器之電路採模組化設計,分為信號調控單元子板、作為類比至數位轉換的單晶片處理器母板及無線傳輸模組。依據待量測的生醫信號特性設計適當增益與濾波頻帶的子板達最佳化設計,而低功率電路與小型化設計更有利於可攜式無線傳輸記錄系統之應用。
臨床研究已證實表面肌電信號與疼痛具有高度相關性,而本研究之量測結果顯示表面肌電與握力間相關係數高達0.89±0.09,此結果顯示握力信號可以用來表示疼痛之程度。慢性下背痛患者需要長期的復健治療,所以如果能參照疼痛程度給予適當的治療並且能定量評估療程的效果,應能適當的運用有限的醫療資源並且給予患者適切的照顧,對於減輕疼痛之精神折磨與改善患者生活品質應有助益。

dc.description.abstractThis thesis can be divided into two parts: low-back pain measurement in clinics and construction of a wireless multichannel recorder for biomedical signals. Firstly, chronic low-back pain study is to develop a method that can objectively, accurately, and quantitatively evaluate pain in physiological and psychological aspects. Secondly, a wireless multichannel recorder is designed for biomedical signals. Wireless method of measure- ment can release patients’ stress and unconstraint his/her motion during measurement and can prevent lead wires fall-off.
The recorder is consisted of daughter boards, a microcontroller on the mother board, and a wireless transmission module. The benefit and flexibility of the modular design is that for each biomedical signal we can filter and amplifier it optimally. Furthermore, low-power consumption and miniature in size facilitate this wireless recording system for portable applications .
It is shown that a patient’s surface EMG is highly correlated with his pain. The correlation- coefficient between the measured surface EMG and grip-force is 0.89±0.09. This means that the grip-force can be used to represent the degree of pain. Chronic low-back pain usually required long-term re- habilitation and therapy. Hence, quantitative evaluation of pain is essential for pain therapy.
