| dc.description.abstract | 隨著資訊科技的進步,電子期刊逐漸成為學術傳播中的媒介之一,而先前電子期刊使用研究結果也指出,電機與資訊領域的教師使用以及引用電子期刊之頻率越來越高。然而電子期刊到底在電機與資訊領域教師的研究歷程中扮演怎樣的角色?帶來了什麼樣的幫助?都是尚待釐清的問題。具體而言,本研究之目的有三:(1)探討電機與資訊領域教師研究歷程之階段以及各階段之資訊使用活動、(2)分析電子期刊在電機與資訊領域教師研究歷程中所扮演之角色及重要性、以及(3)探討電機與資訊領域教師於研究歷程中使用電子期刊的經驗。
本研究以深度訪談法訪問了國立臺灣大學電機資訊學院專任教師共十五位,得到研究結論為主要分為三方面:(1) 電機與資訊領域教師研究歷程之階段以及各階段之資訊使用活動方面,其研究歷程大致分為「發掘問題」、「了解相關研究」、「定義問題」、「尋求解決方案」、「設計」、「實作」、「結果分析」、「論文撰寫與發表」等八個階段,且於研究歷程中的資訊使用隨著研究階段有所不同;(2)電子期刊在電機與資訊領域教師研究歷程中所扮演之角色及重要性方面,電子期刊對其從事研究之重要性以及所帶來之幫助與影響隨研究階段有所不同。且電機與資訊領域教師使用電子期刊解決的問題主要是取得實驗用之數據,此外,電子期刊於電機與資訊領域教師研究階段中所扮演角色與其他資源之相較是有差異的,而電機與資訊領域教師大多不會因閱讀電子期刊而改變研究方向;(3) 電機與資訊領域教師電子期刊使用經驗方面,電機與資訊領域教師搜尋電子期刊論文之管道多為網路,圖書館多扮演代理伺服器角色,而大多電機與資訊領域教師習慣印出電子期刊閱讀,且閱讀順序與詳簡程度皆有所不同。電機與資訊領域教師引用電子期刊比例相當高,此外,電機與資訊領域教師使用電子期刊過程中之困擾主要有「使用介面」、「保存」、「收錄範圍」、「使用權」、「設備」、「權威性」六方面。是否為電子期刊並不是電機與資訊領域教師考量投稿之重要因素,最後,電機與資訊領域教師認為電子期刊可改進之處有「增加自動摘要功能」、「加強連結與呈現功能」、以及「加強檢索功能」等。 本研究根據訪談分析,對大學圖書館提供資訊服務以及發展電子期刊館藏提出以下五點建議:(1)圖書館員應瞭解各領域讀者的研究歷程以提供適當之資訊服務、(2)圖書館應主動增加圖書館資源之能見度、(3)圖書館應加強電子期刊館藏之資訊組織、(4)圖書館鷹發展整合檢索介面、(5)圖書館員應篩選純網路電子期刊或免費電子期刊以提供讀者使用。 | zh_TW |
