dc.description.abstract | 太陽系中的類木行星,由可見光照片可看出其表面有明顯緯向帶狀的結構,以及大渦旋存在;地球中緯度的高層區域存在著西風噴流,顯示帶狀噴流是行星風系的重要特徵之一。此動力特徵和球面上二維亂流合併的過程,以及背景的行星渦度梯度有關,系統的經向尺度受到萊茵斯尺度(Rhines scale)限制,緯向尺度可無限制成長,最終形成帶狀的結構,甚至出現如大紅斑的大渦旋。
地球上存在著渦旋與地形,二者皆會造成局部的位渦擾動,不同的地方在於:渦旋會移動,地形則靜止。本文延續前人的研究,使用全球波譜模式為研究工具,進一步探討渦旋與地形對於噴流結構的影響。研究結果顯示:(1)渦旋與地形的附近均出現西風加速的現象;地球上常出現如:颱風、青康藏高原東側之背風氣旋等高能量聚集的渦旋,其存在對於地球上盛行的行星風帶可能有增強的效應。(2)在植入特定結構之渦旋的實驗中,初始植入渦旋附近出現明顯環繞整個緯度圈的帶狀噴流,其經向方向上的寬度為萊茵斯尺度,出現之正壓不穩定波動滿足在比克萊東風噴流環境下發生之正壓不穩定,渦度帶的緯向波長約為經向寬度的4倍。(3)植入渦旋造成局部區域之西風加速,以北半球來說,將在西風帶南側出現磯波區(surf zone),而在渦旋附近出現最大之向北位渦通量。(4)渦旋對於亂流的組織能力與渦旋結構有關。(5)植入緯向的地形有助於緯向渦度帶之生成。(6)規則地形(軸與經緯線平行的地形),有助於動能在較短時間內反串跌到大尺度,約可減少一半的時間。(7)要模擬出完整的能量波譜分佈解析度至少需為T60。 | zh_TW |
