dc.description.abstract | 在視訊串流技術中的適應性速率控制機制是一個很重要的議題。不管是在有線網路或是無線網路的環境下適應性速率控制機制都是一樣重要的。在這篇論文中,我們提出的一個基於人臉偵測與TCP-Friendly的適應性速率控制。在最近這幾年基於視訊串流的技術包括視訊會議和視訊電話變的越來越受歡迎。在這些應用之中通常我們最重視的部分就是在人臉部位所以在我們所提出的新演算法裡就包含了人臉偵測技術。我們希望能用人臉偵測的技術來達到適應性速率控制的效果。另外,某些視訊會議是用行動裝置來代替一般的個人電腦以增加其機動性。所以我們的實驗是在行動裝置上去做測試的。而我們的實驗過程中是利用TFRC來計算出影像的傳送速率,實驗結果證明我們所提出的演算法能使在人臉區塊的影像品質增加,使得使用者更能專注於人臉部分。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | Adaptive rate control is an important issue in video transmission. The rate control technique is very significant both in wired network and in wireless network. In this thesis, we introduce a new adaptive rate control scheme based on face detection technique and TCP-friendly (TFRC). The applications of video transmission, such as video phone and video conference, are getting more and more popular. In these applications, since human faces are the most important part, we take the face detection technique into our work. In addition, some video conferences use mobile devices instead of PC to enhance mobility. Therefore, we do our experiment on pocket PC. In our experiment, the sending rate of video streaming is calculated by the TFRC. The results of the experiments show that the new algorithm can improve the video quality of the region of the human face and the user can see the human face more clearly. | en |
