摘要: | 本論文探討三組不同摻雜濃度之摻鉺光纖所製作之平均波長穩定最佳化複行後向超螢光纖光源在輻射照射底下的效應變化。
最佳化設計為在未輻射狀態下,藉由長度及泵激波長等選擇使外界溫度的變動對光源的影響降至最低。我們並藉由數值分析模擬其中一組摻鉺光纖最佳化長度時的特性,同時由實驗可發現鉺離子濃度是決定最佳化長度的主因。 當利用此光纖光源作為人造衛星上高精密度光纖陀螺儀光源,其環境必須曝露在太空輻射底下。我們以Co60產生的珈瑪射線來模擬低軌道人造衛星的輻射環境,由實驗結果可發現其平均波長變化深受複行後向架構的影響:當光源峰值發生互換時其平均波長變動最大,此變化和泵激功率損耗關係最密切,泵激功率在摻鉺光纖中的損耗除了和光纖長度有關外,也和鉺離子及鋁離子摻雜濃度有關,其中鋁離子的影響較嚴重。我們利用輻射照射缺陷所造成的額外吸收中心模型,模擬其中一組摻鉺光纖受輻射照射之功率損耗及平均波長變化。根據我們實驗結果推測,低軌道人造衛星,在輻射環境下服役七年的時間內功率損耗小於2 dB,平均波長飄移在5 nm內,其變化十分緩慢。 In this thesis, the optimal mean-wavelength stable double pass backward superfluorescent fiber sources (DPB SFS) were made by three different kinds of EDF. The variation due to temperature would be least in this design. At the same time, a theoretical model of DPB SFS was used to analysis the characteristics including mean wavelength stability, linewidth and output power. According to the measured results, the optimal length would be highly related by the concentration of Erbium ions. When applied in artificial satellites as light sources of fiber optical gyroscopes, the space radiation in this environment would cause power loss and mean wavelength drift in DPB SFS. We used Co60 irradiation source to simulate the environment of low orbital satellites. The mean-wavelength drift was highly depended on the pump power loss. The total power loss not only depended on the lengths of Erbium doped fibers, but also depended on the concentration of the Erbium ions and the Aluminum ions. We also built a model to simulate the power loss and mean-wavelength drift of DPB SFS in space environment. According to our research, the power loss in low-orbital environment was less than 2dB and the mean-wavelength drift was less than 5nm for a seven-year mission. |
