dc.description.abstract | 本研究之實證結果可以觀察到1990~2005年間,半導體廠商的專利引證網絡特性對於提升其技術水準的影響。我們發現引證程度中心性,可以提升這些廠商的技術能力。我們更進一步探討先後進廠商之比較時,發現到後進廠商透過專利引證來學習技術的方式,對提升技術能力的幅度明顯超越先進國家,且越到後期顯著性更強、幅度更大。另外這些廠商的中介中心性若越高,代表他們佔據引證網絡越重要的位置,而其技術能力就越強。同樣的在探討後進廠商的中介中心性時,雖然先後進廠商都佔據網絡的重要位置,但是在最後一期(2001~2005)後進廠商的技術能力強過先進廠商。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | This study examines the impact of patent citation networks on technology capability in the semiconductors industry among advanced firms in US, Japan, Germany, France and Netherlands and latecomer firms in Taiwan, Korea and Singapore during 1990-2005. We find that learning could improve semiconductors firms’ technology capability. Moreover, the level of improvement in latecomer firms was greater than advanced ones. In addition, the more important position a firm had in the patent citation network, the better technology capability it had and latecomer firms were significantly better than advanced ones only in recent years, i.e. 2001-2005. | en |
