摘要: | 臺灣大地動力學國際合作研究計畫(TAiwan Integrated GEodynamics Research, TAIGER) 為探討臺灣周邊大陸與海底地殼活動的國際合作研究計畫。此計畫結合臺美兩方的地質研究團隊合作,分別由陸地及海洋,進行對臺灣地殼形貌的探討。此計畫的海洋研究部分,須使用美方藍賽斯研究船(R/V Marcus G. Langseth)來拖曳空氣槍(Airgun)串列,以產生可以穿透海床的高位準低頻聲波,並藉由聲波的反射訊號解析海底地質結構。此項調查的其中主要研究區域,為沿臺灣沿岸自北到南進行長距震測測線。然而,臺灣東岸正是鯨豚與海洋哺乳類的重要棲息地,持續且強烈的聲波,極可能對鯨豚造成干擾,甚至影響其物類種回音定位的能力。
本研究團隊於藍賽斯研究船在臺灣東部海岸進行空氣槍震測實驗之際,於東部沿岸進行低頻噪音監控與音傳實驗。實驗地點包含成功漁港外海、石梯漁港外海及綠島北緣,全程接收並監測藍賽斯研究船向岸航行時空氣槍陣列產生之爆破訊號,進行低頻音傳資料分析。 本研究亦利用模式模擬驗證實測資料。在模式模擬上,使用GDEM產生一聲速剖面,並利用RAM音傳模式,輸入大氣海洋局之底質及海科中心之水深資料,模擬現實的水文場。並採用聲源具交換性之特性直線進行模擬,進而計算當震測船沿著測線航行時,產生由空氣槍陣列產生間斷性震測訊號,觀察此訊號于聲學路徑上與周遭環境交互作用之特性。本研究探討低頻聲源於臺灣東部海域音傳損耗之變動性,同時比較單頻與寬頻之模擬計算差異,並與實際量測之訊號作對照,分析低頻聲源於實際海洋環境傳遞後,所造成音傳損耗分析與結果討論。最後利用聲線理論(RAY)探討受地形造成能量匯集區域,以觀察其影響。 Taiwan Integrated Geodynamics Research for Explore(TAIGER) project was to conduct seismic experiments around Taiwan seas to study plate, crust motion and geology of Taiwan. This project is a collaboration of Taiwan and the U.S. Geological research team to study the crust of morphology in Taiwan . It uses R/V Marcus G. Langseth to tow Airgun arrays which generate high level of low frequency sound to penetrate the seabed. The survey tracks circle around Taiwan’s coast. However, there are cetaceans and marine mammals habitats on Taiwan’s east coast. Sustained and intense burst will affect with whales and dolphins, e.g. the biological capability of the echo location. This paper is aim to study the low frequency sound generated by seismic airgun arrays propagating on the Taiwan East coast. Acoustic signals were recorded by three stations located at port of Chengkung, Shihti and northern of Lyudao while R/V Marcus G. Langseth were towing Airgun arrays, which gives the comparison to modeling results, data analysis were compare with simulation results. RAM-PE with measured in-situ sound speed profiles were used to simulation receiver pulses variety of transmission losses. Two scenarios based on monotone and wideband propagation theory were also adopted to illustrate with data results to modeling results. Acoustic ray were also plotted the differences of model’s capability to show the energy converge due to regional topography. |
