摘要: | 雲端運算在近年來越來越普及,同時中央處理器CPU效能的越來越進步,面對雲端運算,生產者在後端雲端伺服器的平台上應該如何選擇,以及雲端運算的前端終端裝置平台,消費者在選擇其終端裝置的決定上,該有怎樣的考量,相關的半導體廠商應該如何制定其競爭策略,都是本研究的討論方向。
隨著雲端運算的盛行,我們嘗試透過討論下列主題,來討論相關的競爭策略: ●雲端運算與中央處理器的演進如何影響消費者選擇行動上網的裝置? ●隨著不同行動上網的裝置變化及效能改進,消費者的選擇有哪些? ●根據過去資料的佐證以及本論文的研究結論,冀望對未來雲端以及相關電信服務與終端設備提供者,及其相關的產業提供具體的研究成果及未來的研究方向。 從本研究的個案可以發現,半導體廠商可以學習Intel在發展雲端運算裝置上的競爭策略,從後端及前端裝置一起著手,並透過高技術門檻來拉大與競爭者的差距,並透過水平垂直整合,及上下游合作的方式,讓自身在市場上的領導地位更爲確立。 Cloud computing is getting more and more popular in these two years. Along wth the significant progress of CPU performance, how should the server makers choose the right platform of the could server facing to the trend of could computing, and how should the end customers choose the front end device based on the consideration of could computing, and how should the related semiconductors cope with the the trend to make a better competion strategy? These are the discussing topics in this study. Along with the popularity of could computing, we try to disucss the related competion strategies through the following topics in the study: ●How does the evolution of cloud computing and CPU impact users to choose mobile networking device? ●Per the different evolutions of mobile devices and improvement of the perfomrace, what’s the option that end users can take? ●Based on the past information and the research result of this study, we wish to provide useful conclusions and directions to the related service and telcom devices vendors of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS on could. From the case of this study, we found that semiconductor vendors can learn from Intel on the competion strategy of could computing, such as developing the back end and front end devices at the same time. Also, using the high end technology as an entry barrier to pull up the distance with the competitors, and cooperating with suppliers and customers as well as integration of horizontal and vertical vendors to assure the leading place in the market. |
