摘要: | 近年來全球電子資訊產業變遷快速,國際分工日益深化與專業化,且市場逐漸趨向少量多樣與彈性客製化,台灣電子製造業廠商必須在多變的產業環境下尋求新的競爭策略,因此本研究擬透過研究電子專業製造服務產業之整體現況與趨勢,亦發現電子專業製造服務產業存在長尾右端的利基型市場,其客戶對客製化與服務品質的要求程度高,使得在該產業中存在與大型企業以低成本競爭為策略的競爭方式完全不同的思維。
本研究以一個案公司作為研究對象,透過分析歸納,找出該個案公司在電子專業製造服務業之策略方向與競爭優勢,並試圖提出未來的發展建議,研究亦透過搜集歷史文獻,包括「產業五力分析」、「價值網模型」、「企業能耐分析」、「競爭策略分析」與「商業模式分析」之相關歷史文獻並建構研究架構,最後以學理結合實務之方式,期許為電子專業製造服務業之企業提出具有實務價值的策略意涵。 In recent years, with the rapid change in the global electronic information industry and the specialization of international supply chains, the market is inclined to emphasize diversification and customization. Under this trend, Taiwan’s electronic manufacturers must seek different competitive strategies in such a changing environment, and this provides an incentive for the research to study the overall status and trends of the electronics manufacturing service (EMS) industry. The study finds not only the competitive landscape for big EMS enterprises but also niche markets in which small and medium enterprises offer their specialized services. The niche market is corresponding to the right end of the long tail, and its customers have a high demand for customization and service quality. As a result, there is a completely different way of thinking for competition and strategies in this field. This study conducts a case study with a small EMS, spun off from a listed company in Taiwan, in order to find its competitive advantages and strategic development in EMS industry. The research analyzes the case with theoretical frameworks, including Five-Force Analysis, value net model, core competence analysis, competitive strategy, and business model analysis. Finally, the research intends to provide strategic implications for both practices and academics. |
