| dc.description.abstract | Open cavities are different from enclosed cavities, there is no obvious boundary. Therefore, there does not exist an analytical solution of the electromagnetic waves in open cavities. In this study, the behaviors of electromagnetic waves of TE11 mode in open cavities are analyzed by numerical simulation. The reflections in temporal domain and spectral domain are investigated to obtain the quality factors. | en |
