Abstract

This paper is meant to create an efficient and profitable business opportunity while at the same time tackle one of today’s biggest problem worldwide, pollution. As I will mention in this business proposal the world is facing a big problem concerning pollution, In particular plastic waste pollution. Millions of tons of plastic are dumped or incinerated across the world creating more environmental problems. Some countries (mostly developed nations) have implemented laws and systems which allow a more efficient recollection of this waste, but on the other side the big majority of countries (developing countries) still haven’t really learnt how to do this process. This by itself creates a business opportunity in these countries (in this paper specifically Latin America). The perfect combination for this business to become efficient and profitable exists, the raw material (plastic waste) the environmental need, Government support and the low competition present in the market, all of these factors I believe will create a good and lasting business opportunity.
