| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, one-dimensional barcodes are widely used in many fields such as productions in a supermarket, patient identification wristbands, and commodities in retail stores.
However, in our lives, it is quite difficult to get the laser-scanner barcode reader machine for most people. In order to solve the laser-scanner machine scarcity, barcode reading machine starts to transfer from laser-scanner or Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) cameras to the common camera such as phone camera or web camera. In this thesis, we design and implement a 1D barcode decoder on personal computer and smart phone. | en |
