dc.description.abstract | 對於世界各地的所有人來說,2020年都是出乎意料的艱難的一年。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | The year of 2020 has been an unexpectedly hard year for everyone around the world. Societies and economies were forced to take a step back to protect themselves from the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world. Many everyday systems that we took for granted before were dealt with the difficult pressure to change and adapt or fail completely. One of these vital systems was the education system which involve people of all ages, disciplines, and roles. Learning is vital to growing, it's what keeps our next generation strong, builds important connections with society and is the hope of the future. There are countless lives that depend on the education system and those that could be affected include students, teachers, staff, parents. Though science is what will get us out of this pandemic, art is going to get us through it. Like other learning subjects in school, art is a vital subject to student learning and student mental health. And art teachers just like all the other types of teachers face the challenge of teaching students from online. They are limited by the resources they can use from online and students are also limited to what tool they have at home, making lesson planning challenging for everyone. By developing an art education platform, I want to address the teaching issues that art teachers face and aid them to be successful with teaching their students online. | en |
