| dc.description.abstract | 近年來香港社會逐漸蘊釀繼上世紀80年代末至90年代初後的另一波移民潮，而這波移民潮與上一波不同之處在於上一波主要目的地是英國丶美國丶澳洲及加拿大等英語系國家，而近期台灣則逐漸成為香港人經常被討論的一個移民目的地。本文採用生活方式型移民的作為主要分析框架，先指出香港丶台灣兩地在近年來的相對社會變遷是促成這種遷移路徑產生的關鍵因素，同時台灣針對香港居民提供的移民政策優惠成為促進這條路徑的重要誘因。除此之外，本文同時指出香港人遷台的原因與傳統經濟理性的假設不同，他們更多追求的是生活品質層面。然而，雖然港人並非基於經濟考量而遷台，他們遷台後的生活經驗卻受限於他們自身的財務狀況。與此同時，香港人經常基於文字共通而低估融入台灣社會的困難，本文指出台灣欠缺針對性的語言資源，加上台灣人日常生活經常將台語與華語兩者混雜使用，使得原先華語水平不佳的港人欠缺足夠的配套支援，導致他們存在融入社會的障礙，這些障礙使得他們在台求職丶生活上遇到相當大困難，最終或迫使他們選擇回流香港謀生。因此，本文結論針對遷台港人目前的政策處境提出兩項政策建議。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis aims to answer why more and more hongkongers choose Taiwan as an ideal place to live. Unlike traditional assumptions of migration studies, the thesis argues that the reasons hongkongers choose to leave is not about economic rationale, but pursuing the quality of life. However, how much money they owned determines the living experience of them. I also point out that most hongkongers underestimate the difficulty of living in Taiwan. This study finds out that language is the main barrier for hongkongers to settle down. At the end of this thesis, The author offer two recommendations to the authorities for better governance of Hongkong migrants in Taiwan. | en |
