| dc.description.abstract | 本論文探討 ReLink 的發展背景與策略定位。
| zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis explores the development and strategic positioning of ReLink, a digital platform designed to facilitate non-transactional item redistribution in urban environments. Situated within Taiwan’s broader transition toward a circular economy, the study addresses the persistent disconnect between high levels of environmental awareness and the continued disposal of reusable household items.
Through secondary data analysis and comparative review of prevailing recommerce platforms, this research identifies key limitations in current reuse infrastructures. While major customer-to-customer platforms in Taiwan effectively support transactional resale, they provide limited support for gifting-based exchanges that emphasize accessibility, privacy, and low coordination costs. Informal reuse networks operating through social media and messaging applications further constrain scalability and user inclusivity. ReLink is proposed as a digital-first, privacy-preserving solution that enables structured, non-monetary exchanges across city-wide communities. By removing price barriers and reducing transaction friction, the platform seeks to extend product lifecycles, decrease waste generation, and broaden participation in circular consumption practices. Taipei and New Taipei City are identified as priority pilot markets due to their population density, digital connectivity, and sustainability awareness. | en |
